The Champs Elysées of Paris converted to countryside landscapes for a weekend. At mid-height
Twenty years after planting wheat on the most beautiful avenue in the world during the Great Harvest, the street artist Gad Weil takes the path of the Champs Elysees. With Laurence Medioni and support the Young Farmers, he staged beds of forest trees, cereals and vegetable crops. A total of 150 species that make up a large puzzle of rural France. A huge project of five million euros, which attracted nearly two million visitors, twice more than expected. At the end of the event, the 8,000 plots have been dismantled and stored in the Paris region, where they are sold. Scattered into fragments on balconies, terraces and gardens of the country, the ephemeral work earn a little longevity.
