Situated on on left rim of Huang Pu river, on southern neighbourhoods of center Shanghai, the Jiang Nan shipyardis the oldest harbour in whole China, builded by Great Britain in the 1850's. It will be destroyed by 2006-2007 to be replaced by Shanghai 2010 World Exhibition installations. On background, habitation towers of 'Puxi" -meaning "west of Pu river"- the old and western part of Shanghai.
