Chili - Ile de Paques - Mission scientifique dirigee par l'archéologue Giuseppe Orefici : Sur les flancs du volcan Rano Raraku eu lieu, pendant plus d’un millénaire, la genèse des Moais, noms des celebres statues geantes de l’ile de Paques. Giuseppe Orefici, archeologue en chef de la mission scientifique, se tient au pied de Moais qui regardent vers le grand sud. Seul le visage est visible mais le corps, enterré, est entier. // Chile - Easter Island - Scientific mission led by archaeologist Giuseppe Orefici: On the slopes of the Rano Raraku volcano took place, for more than a millennium, the genesis of the Moais, names of the famous giant statues of Easter Island. Giuseppe Orefici, chief archaeologist of the scientific mission, stands at the foot of Moais which look towards the great south. Only the face is visible but the body, buried, is whole.
