This collection of Celtic helmets, originally discovered at Monterenzio, near Bologna in Northern Italy, now resides in the village’s local museum. These helmets were made with a precise ratio of steel, iron and very malleable sheet metal demonstrating the Celts’ amazing mastery of metallurgy which impresses even modern-day blacksmiths.
