Close up on priest Hau-Nefer and his wife Khuti. The hieroglyphs to the right of the priest’s face spell the shortened version of this name, “Hau”, as well as his many titles. Hau-Nefer was not only a priest in the funerary temple of Pepi I, but was also a high-ranking noble and a high priest.
