Canada - State of Nunavut - Operation NUNALIVUT 2018 - Surroundings of Cambridge Bay - Ice diving camp, located in the heart of the Northwest Passage, 40 km as the crow flies from Cambridge Bay. Most of these "Navy Seals", which belong to the Halifax Regiment (Canadian Navy of the Atlantic Ocean), have hundreds of hours of diving under their belt but are venturing under the ice for the first time. At this point, the depth of the Northwest Passage is only 11 meters, which explains the incredible clarity of the water. Valérie Leclair is one of the few women to dive under the ice. For 12 years in the army, she also takes pictures underwater for the mission.
