Bordering the river Thames in the district of Battersea in London, the Foster & Partners offices managed by Sir Norman Foster (on the right foreground) won the Viaduc de Millau architectural design competition in 1996. No hierarchy between Foster & Partners colleagues : 200 architects, designers and assistants are living together in this huge working room. They are all taking up exactly the same space.
