June, 2003. On this exceptional construction site, the cranes, weighing in at 400 tons, tower at 264 meters setting a new world record. The concrete piers are built in several lifting installments with the help of a “climbing” compartment which rises at the rate of 4 meters…every three days! From left to right, piers P5 to P1. Pier P2, fourth from the left, will measure 243 meters, which will set a world record.
