The Moïka Canal and the Church of our Savior on Spilled Blood. With its
colorful mosaics and sculpted stone, this church, built in 1883 by Alfred
Parland and Ignace Malichev, returns to traditional 17th Century Russian
architecture. After eight years of restoration, the church is once again in
the state it was at the beginning of the century.
