Villedieu les Poëles, Cornille Havard foundry, France. March 20, 2012. It is here that are made the eight future bells of the north tower of Notre Dame de Paris, namely: Gabriel (A sharp), 4160 kg; Anne Geneviève (B), 3480 kg; Denis (C sharp), 2500 kg; Marcel (D sharp), 1925 kg; Etienne (F), 1490 kg; Joseph Benoit (F sharp), 1310 kg Maurice (G sharp), 1010 kg and Jean-Marie (A sharp) 780 kg. The ninth bell, a big bell of 6.2 tonnes named Marie (G sharp), is made in the Royal Eijsbouts foundry, the Netherlands (photos 66-96).
