South facade, portal Saint Etienne. The tympanum narrates the life of Stephen, which was dedicated to the first cathedral of the diocese of Paris, before the construction of Notre Dame. Preacher and miracle worker, Etienne is denounced as blasphemous and taken to court (bottom). Stoned, he is buried by a pious congregation, awaiting the resurrection (top). Altitude 8 meters.
