Reims, where Charles VII was crowned King of France in the presence of Joan of Arc, 17 July 1429: Inside the cathedral (apsidal chapel), marble statue, ivory and bronze of "Joan during the coronation" made by Prosper d'Epinay in 1901. The artist was inspired by the face of a nun praying in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. It was filed in 1909 in the cathedral at parties celebrating the beatification of Joan of Arc at the spot where it stood at the coronation of Charles VII.
