Meroitic language, "the Etruscan Africa" remains to be elucidated and remains a key challenge for the decryption of lost civilizations. It is from the second century BC which appears to Meroe a specific writing, resulting in the abandonment of Egyptian hieroglyphics in favor of including 23 new alphabetic signs, near the Egyptian cursive writing (use) and Egyptian hieroglyphics (use royal cult). We can therefore read the texts, but we do not yet understand.
Here, fragments of pottery, which were used to make sketches and write informal notes written in cursive.
