This polychrome frescoes, found inside the temple of Beit el-Wali (Lower Nubia), is a military expedition of Pharaoh Ramses II (right, photo 89). We see a panel of Nubians to the skin black or brown with leopard skins and large earrings. On the left (photo 88), the viceroy to the king offers Amenemope quantity of products from Africa, including bag of gold, incense, ivory, ostrich eggs, etc. And also many live animals, including lions, giraffes, ostriches, gazelles, leopards, monkeys and antelopes.
