At sunrise, view to the royal tombs in the northern cemetery, by far the largest and best preserved. In the foreground we recognize, in their lighter color, the pyramids reconstructed by archaeologists. Each tomb consists of a chapel adjoining the pyramid. The chamber is located under the pyramid itself. On the right, the pyramid of Queen Shakakdakhete (N. 11), where a relief has been preserved and restored (see photo 23 and 24).
